• This is the 2nd time we've had Emily come to our Company picnic and the 2nd time we've been extremely satisfied with her services. She shows up early, is ready to go and keeps the line moving to get as many portraits done as possible. Everyone was super excited to get their portraits done and were very pleased with the results. She drew portraits of our employees, their children and even did a family portrait with their fur baby. I would definitely recommend her for any event and would absolutely book her again. • We booked Emily for our Take Your Child to Work Day. She was absolutely phenomenal! She was wonderful with the kids. Her drawings are comical and fun, while not being offensive. Her timing estimates were spot on! She was incredibly accommodating and stayed a little longer than the booked time to do some extra portraits. She even used company colors to accent the photos, as well as writing the event title on each picture. She was so friendly, kind, and had a smile on her face the entire event. • We booked Emily for a 5 year old birthday party at Dave and Busters. We had seen Emily at another event and I took her card there. The caricature she did of my kids was so nice, we framed it and hung it. So when the opportunity came to use her, it was a no-brainer. The booking phase is an awesome start to the whole experience with Caricatures by Emily. She is pleasant, easy to talk to, professional and keeps her service packages basic and easy to understand. No fine print, no hassles, no innuendos. She tells you how much time she needs based on the size of your party and what your desires are. She then tells you how much space you need to prepare for her (a small table and 3 chairs!) and what to expect. All this before she delves into pricing. She makes you feel like the money is the least important thing and that highlights where her priorities are - your satisfaction. Then her booking experience is made easy with online signatures. I did everything through my phone. As a mom that is constantly on the GO, I can't tell you how awesome this is. On the day of the event. Emily arrived 30 minutes before the start of the event. She quietly set up her space as we ran up and down to finalize the decorations and favors. When the party started, Emily was a HIT. All the kids lined up and all the adults were jealous. LOL. She did a little over 20 paintings for our party. Each one was unique and she worked in the theme of the party (emojis) into the paintings! Each painting was then put into a small transparent bag for safe keeping and then given to the kids as a sort of extra favor. All the kids and parents loved it! It was the little details - the ease of booking, getting there on time, taking the initiative to start  a little bit prior to the agreed upon start time, working the party theme into the caricatures, and then packaging the caricatures - that sets Emily apart. Best part, she does it all with a smile and so much grace! Emily, my family and I are so grateful for the quality of service you provided. • Emily is fantastic! I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She not only cranked out the drawings for our large crowd, she did so with grace and warmness that made everyone comfortable. We had hired two artists for our function and the line formed for Emily early and continued throughout our event, not so much for the other one. (Note the other one was hired through another entertainment venue and was not associated with Gigmasters) She went above and beyond, we were celebrating our company's 75th Anniversary, she had our logo printed on her paper! • I knew from reviews that Emily was a talented artist, but watching her in action was mesmerizing! The booking process was extremely easy and Emily was a delight to talk to - you can tell she is passionate about her work! • Emily was amazing. My wedding (6/12/2016 in Monroe, NJ) had ~ 30 kids < 18 years old in attendance. Emily was able to draw them in groups, keep them engaged, and managed not to lose her sanity in the process! She was a consummate professional and and drew lovely caricature portraits for adults as well. I only wish she had taken time to eat! I would definitely recommend Emily for any event. Her style was a perfect bled of portrait-style and cartoon-ish embellishment, depending on what the subject wanted. • Emily was the caricaturist at my son's Bar Mitzvah last weekend. She was amazing! We had over 75 kids and she was able to draw all of the kids over a four hour period. • Caricatures By Emily far exceeded my expectations with a digital caricature of someone at work in a setting that was very detailed. The "someone at work" was created from a couple of pictures I sent. The setting and likeness was phenomenal, a testament to her creativity. I described the scene I wanted in an email and listed some of the unique objects, people, and vehicles in it. She returned a draft for review and changes you can modify to your exact requirement. All this in less than two days! I don't usually provide feedback unless the service is extraordinary. I strongly recommend using this vendor for all your manual or digital caricature needs. • I was very excited to have Emily draw at my wedding as I never had a caricature of myself before. After searching, she appeared to be the best at what she does. It is her passion, and not just some part-time gig like most others. Everyone, including myself, loved her work and personality. She works wonderfully and quickly. I'm so glad I had her for an extended period of time 4:30 to 10 pm, so that most individuals would be able to see her. I would recommend booking her for a longer time period. • I should mention at the outset that I've known Emily for many years, and I mention this because I have had the opportunity to view scores of her caricatures on social media.  I never get tired of looking at them, and I'll tell you why.  Emily does more than capture what the person looks like; she somehow manages to depict their entire personality right on the page.  For many years I thought this was just a perception I had, but one day she posted a caricature of a woman I've known since high school.  Let me tell you, the image so accurately depicted her personality that I had to do a double-take to make sure it wasn't one of those animated "Harry Potter" photographs.

  So, when my wife suggested that I start a blog to showcase some of my tall tales and attempts at painting, I immediately thought that the site would be enhanced by a caricature by Emily.  I contacted her, and she made the process as easy as could be.  She asked me to email few good photographs of myself (if there is such a thing).  Then we discussed what it was I was looking for.  Her pricing schedule is written clearly on her web site, so we chose the appropriate one, and she was off and running.  She sent periodic drafts to ensure I was happy with the direction in which she was going.  From the first pencil sketch it was clear that I would be better off giving her full artistic license, because she really knows the business.  By the time she got to the finished product, I marveled (and was horrified at the same time lol) at how much it looked like me.  Even more incredible was that it looked a little like my mother, who to my knowledge Emily never met and even more incredibly most people say I look like my father.  And yet she accentuated parts of my face that are part of my mother's ancestry.

  So, let's talk about the business transaction a little more.  Have you ever worked with artists?  They can be quirky and the business transaction can be awkward.  This is not at all the case with Emily.  She is upfront about costs, deadlines, and requirements.  This makes her perfect for doing corporate events where there is a bean-counter watching from a business perspective.  She is unobtrusive, which makes her perfect for your wedding or Bar Mitzvah.  Her prices are very reasonable, which makes her perfect for your family gathering.  And she is fun, which makes her perfect for your birthday party. Thanks, Emily, for making the ordinary extraordinary! • Absolutely amazing! I've met other caricature artists and Emily is by far the BEST. Not only did she nail personalities she had it together with little kids! She was able to get the personality and features of the little ones, remember it and let them run off if needed. • I was planning a high school graduation party for my daughter, and felt I needed some sort of entertainment that would appeal to everyone and make for a memorable occasion. One of my first ideas was to bring in a mobile photobooth to have people get pictures together. After researching this and thinking about it, I stumbled onto the better idea of a caricature artist. My only experience was at amusement parks where I watched the artists work but never took the time or money to have one drawn. I found Emily Anthony on the net and corrosponded through E-mail. She was AWESOME at the party! People who did not know each other began to talk and laugh among themselves. Watching her work and seeing the reactions from the people she drew when done was so much fun! It turned out to be a much better choice than a photobooth at less than half the price!
